Coron to Boracay Adventure Holiday

Fly into Coron-Busuanga Airport from Manila on a morning or mid-day flight, to be met by 4x4 vehicle for your transfer to Palawan SandCastles. Enjoy the peace and quiet at SandCastles and get your sea legs with a relax paddle around the bay to the surrounding islands. Snorkel the crystal clear waters if you like, or just laze on the local sandbar. Return to Sandcastles for sundowners, an awesome sunset, some local cooking and a good night’s sleep before the real adventure starts.

Day 2 is an early rise for a quick breakfast and transfer out to Coron Town to start the Ultimate CoronBanca and Sea Kayak day trip. The trip takes you first to the less touristy and seldom frequented part of Coron Island, to experience the beauty of untouched beaches and underwater caves. You work your way up the coast paddling and snorkelling, ending the trip with Coron’s iconic Kayangan Lake. Accommodation back at SandCastles

Second adventure-packed day with activities of your choice. You can either choose to kayak through a mangrove channel, ending up at Calauit Wildlife Park, to visit and see some of the local wildlife, which surprisingly includes giraffe and zebra. You’re then transferred by 4x4 to Sinibayan falls, where you will take a 30 minute hike through thick rainforest before reaching a small waterfall, where lunch will be waiting. You can then take an afternoon dip in the cool rock pools, before returning to SandCastles before dark.

Should you want a more marine focused adventure, you may choose to do a full day of dugong spotting, tracking down some of the 30 resident dugong (manatees) in the bay. The dugong trip is run in conjunction with the native Tagbanua tribe and success under this collaboration is very high: 90%+ chance to snorkel with at least one dugong.

Early morning snorkel or kayak. Checkout after breakfast. Transfer by 4x4 to airport for flight on modern, high-tech 9-seat Cessna Caravan to Caticlan.

A private van and guide will be waiting for you at the airport to transfer you to Kayak Inn, located in Tibiao, a 90-minute drive. On the way there, you’ll stop at the famous Tibiao Fish Spa for a tickling experience to have hundreds of tiny fish nibble at your feet. The day ends with you checking into Kayak Inn, located right along Tibiao River, where you can soak in Tribal Adventures signature Kawa hot baths, and watch the fireflies light up the trees as night falls.

You’ll wake up to the sound of the rushing river and start the day with kayak safety training and a practice paddle. You’ll get your own personal minder-guide for your morning session down the rapids of the Tibiao River. You’ll return to Kayak Inn for a native cooking class with the caretakers. After a hearty lunch of local delicacies, you’ll go for a gentle trek through rice paddies up to the 7-layered BugtongBato waterfalls. Your guide will take you to the 4^th level, where you can soak in the cool rock pools, or choose to cliff dive from the rock faces. Returning to Kayak Inn, hot Kawas will be ready for you to relax in after a full day of adventure.

A private van will pick you up for your transfer to Boracay Island. After a short boat ride and a quick trip on a local tricycle, you will check in at BoracaySandCastles the Apartments, for a luxury relax, enjoying absolute beachfront. Spend the day how you want to, lazing on Boracay’s White Beach, or doing more adventure activities like parasailing, diving, kiteboarding or sunset cruising on locally built sailboats called Paraws, such Boracay activities if guests so choose, on their own account.

Enjoy the morning walking the 4-kilometer long white-sand beach of Boracay before checking out of Boracay SandCastles and being transfered to Caticlan Airport to catch a flight to Manila.
