Amazing day with Vida kayaking, snorkelling and swimming in beautiful spots around Coron Island! So helpful sorting our trip and equipment last minute! We went to loads of amazing spots and they know the best times to take you so it is less busy - so so worth doing the private tour! Lunch was delicious - fresh tuna fish grilled and served on the boat!! Ate in a beautiful, peaceful lagoon. Kayaked around the cliff edges, through peaceful mangroves and stunning lagoons. Nous revenons de deux jours de croisière privée avec Greg et son équipe sur un catamaran … et sincèrement, c'était magique.
Tout était réuni pour rendre cette expérience inoubliable : la qualité des prestations à bord ( la cuisine était incroyable !!!), la beauté des lieux explorés..
Entre kayak, snorkeling et découvertes de spots préservés, loin du tourisme de masse, chaque moment avait quelque chose de magique.
Ce que nous avons particulièrement aimé, c’est cette ambiance à la fois chaleureuse et intimiste, qui nous a permis de profiter pleinement de notre bulle à deux.
Une expérience précieuse, hors du temps.

We booked our Mount Darala hike in Coron with Tribal Adventure Tours and was exceptionally pleased with the service.

We had quick responses from Greg outlining exactly what our experience would be and what we needed for a challenging day of hiking. We rented 2 Tsunami175 Sea Kayaks for an independent wonderfull kayak tour of 10 days. Better kayaks you can unfortunately not find in the Phillipines, because all of them are sit-on-top kayaks and are not sufficient for a trip like ours.

Making an individual tour was quite unusual for Tribal but they we're OK with it. Greg rightfully did not want to rent out his personal glasfiber kayak. We're happy he did not do that since the Tsunami kayaks are less fragile and for sure his personal kayaks would have been damaged (sometimes you drag the fully loaded kayaks on the beach and hit a rock)
Vida was extremely helpfull with planning the itinerary. Thanks! From my western point of view and mindset, the planning of the trip could have been better. I sometimes make the mistake in expecting western standards when I pay high western prices (as in this case). Next time please waterproof(or sealed)maps where we can see where we are allowed to camp and a list with relevant gps coordinates.
Later I understood that making/planning the itinerary was not part of the rent contract (although you can argue when you pay 60.000 peso uf they can include a few hours labour) So when you do the same thing, state clear your intentions and don't mind to pay a bit extra for the planning.
And check the seat of the kayak. Mine was broken ( and visibly repaired the phillipinian way, I.e  fishing line). The first few days I thought my bottom had to get used to it :-) and did not have a good look.
It was just on the fifth day that I saw what was broken and repaired it the Dutch way (i.e. long term solution).

My husband and I booked a private tour around the coast of Coron Island. Got picked up at the hotel, boarded the boat and went for a day of amazing adventures!
Vida was the perfect guide and suggested an intenerary but was super flexible and asked for our wishes. We spent the day snorkeling, kayaking and swimming in the most beautiful lagoons and lakes. And they have REAL kayaks, not those awful clear canoes. She even did her best to beat the crowds and time our visit to the popular places. The guys on the boat was super helpful with the gear, cooked amazing food and served us snacks all time.

We had a private tour with Vida and Olig, and honestly it was out best day in 3 weeks in the Phillipines. Snorkelling and kayaking through genuine picture-postcard vistas, looking at beautiful fish on the reefs, and eating good food cooked on the boat.

Nothing was too much trouble, and they adored our kids- Our daughter (4) even told Vida -"I love you as much as chocolate".

We had a wonderful kayak experience with Babi and his two captains aroud Coron island. The weather was not alway sunny but the crew was. They spoiled us with snacks, lunches and a good diner. We slept in a tent on a beach set up by the crew including blankets and a towel. Thank you Babi and captains.
