What a difference a luxury sailing catamaran makes

Tribal Adventures has a new toy, an Admiral 38 sailing catamaran.

Sailing catamaran “Tribal Adventures” is a springboard for unique sea kayaking & snorkeling adventures in Northern Palawan and beyond. https://www.tribaladventures.com/product/product-sail-kayak-the-philippines/

It’s also a “love boat” for couples. Have you and your special some one indulged in a therapeutic massage on a catamaran’s twin trampolines as a setting sun gives way to a canopy of stars?

This, after a day sailing the dramatic coast of Coron and nipping in to its myriad lagoons, dining on lobster and wine, taking a dip in Coron’s famous Maquinit salt water hot spring.

The trips are private, exclusive and only for couples — priced only at a 50% premium to Tribal Adventures’ Ultimate Coron banca and kayak day tour. A steal for a luxurious day out with no peer! https://www.tribaladventures.com/day-trips/ultimate-coron-banca-sea-kayak-day-trip/

The cat’s also a platform for snorkeling with Busuanga’s dugongs. These outings, run in collaboration with Indigenous Dugong Rangers, have a 95% success rate. We put this down to the native Tagbanua people having a special affinity with their deity-like sea cows. The trips are private and exclusive for a maximum of eight (8) persons. The cat dugong snorkeling trips run between 15 April and 29 August yearly. https://www.tribaladventures.com/day-trips/dugong-spotting-philippines/

From October through to 14 April, we go especially native, using a native outrigger banca to run Tribal Adventures dugong snorkeling tours. These trips are run out of Tribal Adventures expedition base SandCastles in Cheey, Busuanga. The base is an hour’s drive from Coron in Tribal Adventures’ Toyota Super Grandia van.

So, apart from September when the dugongs take a break, you can get a chance to swim with the sea cows virtually year-round. Busuanga has the highest concentration of the mammals in the Philippines, and some say anywhere outside of Australia. And the relationship they and their native Tagbanua custodians have with each other makes the experience predictable and extra special for the visitor!
